NATURAL CREATIVITY
NC has a creative approach to education and self-directed partnership.
We believe all humans have a right to pursue any valuable interest, without interfering or hindering anyone from doing the same.
We are proudly located on the border of Germantown and East Falls in Northwest Philadelphia. Our space features a library, a woodshop, maker space, kitchen, lots of art materials (similar to those found in a progressive classroom), and raw materials for imaginative play or creative design and building work. We have lots of places for communal and indpendent projects.

PROGRAM DAYS: MONDAY - FRIDAY
Young people enroll for the same day(s) each week
Mondays: Sensory-friendly, intentionally small, under age 12 (max 15 young people)
Tues-Thurs: our traditional program, open to diverse ages and needs
Fridays: NC Academy (teen academic classes)
PROGRAM NUMBERS: 70 ENROLLED YOUNG PEOPLE; 20-40/DAY
PROGRAM HOURS: 9AM - 3PM
ENROLLMENT OPEN TO: AGES 4 - 18
PROGRAM YEAR: SEPTEMBER - JUNE
PROGRAM FEES: SLIDING SCALE, $2000-$4000/slot (1 slot = 1 day/wk)

Young people at NC are generally free to choose the activities they want to participate in and the content they wish to pursue, with support from facilitator partners and other young people.
​
NC facilitates age-based groups/pods to expand on community-based learning. These groups meet for 30-minute Morning Meetings and afternoon Group Times every day.
Partnership is the egalitarian orientation that guides all relationships in our space: among young people, young people and adults, and our organizational partners.
Every young person is partnered with a staff facilitator, who works with the whole family to identify and pursue goals.
