WHAT WE OFFER

Natural Creativity is a self-directed education resource center located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood. At NC, families who choose an alternative to conventional schooling receive support through our partnership model. This model is centered around exploration of a wide range of materials and opportunities for collaboration with staff, families and other young people.

DAY TO DAY

Every day is different at NC and we have plenty of space to facilitate emergent creativity and self-direction.

At a minimum, every day at NC contains:

- Morning group time (30 min, separated by age groups - info passing, social-emotional learning and games)

- All-community meeting (15 min altogether, for info passing and community building)

- Jobs (every young person does a job that contributes to the cleanliness and maintenance of the space)

- Afternoon group time (30 min)

- Invitations from facilitators and outside content specialists to try new things

- Opportunities to follow one's internal motivations

OK but what does "every day is different" actually mean?

We know it's vague! Check out our FAQ page for more.
