Natural Creativity's signature approach to youth self-direction...in the summer time!
Camp Creativity...Where fun meets exploration!
Our camp offers a safe and nurturing environment for young people ages 4-12 to connect with their interests, discover their passions, and make new friends.
Campers can engage in a variety of activities designed to ignite their creativity and curiosity. From crafting in the art room to teambuilding games on the dance floor, there’s something for everyone. With experienced counselors guiding them, young people can explore and connect at their own pace, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.
Our 9am-3pm daily schedule is flexible, allowing ample space for campers to play, relax, and connect with peers in a supportive setting. We prioritize emotional well-being, social interactions, and the joy of discovery.
Join us this summer for an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories!

What is the daily schedule for summer camp?
Camp runs 9am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Each day features some adult-initiated activities and offerings, as well as open discovery time for campers, Camp Creativity is full of art supplies, building materials, games, a kitchen to experiment in, and space to make anything you imagine. Start a project, change your mind, team up with a friend, go to the park, or go deep into your own artistic creations. There’s no pressure and no schedule. You decide what you want to do. It’s your week! Sample themes to our weeks: Dungeons & Dragons, sewing, woodshop, cooking, gardening, and more.

What if my young person isn't interested in a particular offering?
We build our schedule based on the interests we hear from campers. You can let us know their interests when you fill out the registration form. We celebrate self direction and are not in the business of "making" a young person do something that does not fit their motivation or skill level. Our facilitators are competent, flexible, and skilled at connecting offerings to young people's interests while also inviting them to step out of their comfort zones.

Do you offer financial aid?
A small number of fee-reduced spots are available for each session, and are reserved for those with the greatest need. Let us know during enrollment.

Do you offer sibling or multiweek discounts?
We do not, unfortunately.

What is your technology/screen policy?
We ask that young people leave devices (phones, tablets, VR) at home or in their backpack. We have plenty of materials and activities to capture their attention.
Who are the adults/counselors?
Each group features 2-3 caring, competent adult facilitators trained in NC’s approach to child development and education. All adults pass background checks and child abuse clearances.

I want to register but I'm not sure about our dates yet.
Let us know your plans in the enrollment form and we'll be in touch.
